I'm pretty sure we're supposed to listen to our muses, even if it means breaking a promise or two. :-)Deb Shuckahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03439395710731341021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703409033829423952.post-688161111953925272010-03-12T09:14:40.966-05:002010-03-12T09:14:40.966-05:00Thanks to all of you who made comments. The first few days, I wrote my thousand words. Then I got engaged, and spent a few days blissfully wedding planning. Then I got a headache that lasted three days. Then I got revision notes from my agent on my second novel, and worked on those for a while.

Today, the headache is gone. The revisions are turned in. And the fiance is, as ever, patient and wonderful and supportive. Today I hope to crank out a few words on my work-in-progress. Maybe a thousand. Maybe not. But I'm content.

How great that you've got your first chapter the way you want it! You've got a solid foundation to build on.Sarah Dooleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16554322983327212852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703409033829423952.post-29219194593892808462010-03-11T23:25:19.971-05:002010-03-11T23:25:19.971-05:00I think we're on the same page with writing th...I think we're on the same page with writing this week, no pun intended!Pam Andrews Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04711815641131710530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703409033829423952.post-63135467031940104562010-03-11T20:25:21.909-05:002010-03-11T20:25:21.909-05:00I don't really have any set rules about my wri...I don't really have any set rules about my writing.
